East Windsor To Host Summer Programs At Etra Lake Park
The township has planned a host of outdoor programs for residents this summer. See what's in store.
EAST WINDSOR, NJ — Summer is here, East Windsor has a series of summer programs organized for residents.
On Thursday, Mayor Janice S. Mironov announced that East Windsor Township will be offering a summer program of free events at the Etra Lake Park. “East Windsor Township is excited to invite residents back together to beautiful Etra Lake Park to enjoy this free summer series of concerts and events,” Mironov said in a statement. “Bring your blankets and chairs, enjoy the park grills and amenities, and join with your neighbors for a great night out.”
Kicking off the program is a concert by Jersey Four on Sunday, July 18 at 6 p.m. Jersey Four is a Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons tribute band, that will perform hit songs from the very beginning of The Four Seasons journey, through Valli’s solo career, to present-day shows.

Saturday, July 31 at 7 p.m. is Family Night in the Park, featuring an outdoor screening of the movie “Trolls World Tour”. The evening will begin with games, DJ music, and dancing prior to the movie starting at dusk. The rain date for this event is Sunday, August 1.
On Sunday, August 8 at 6 p.m. New York City-based tribute band AM Gold will be performing adult-contemporary hit songs from the late 1970s through the mid 1980s. Artists include Hall & Oates, Steely Dan, Huey Lewis, Christopher Cross, and Lionel Richie.

Wooden Ships Band, a Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young tribute band, will take the audience back in time to the era of the 1970s during the Woodstock festival, on Sunday, August 22 at 6 p.m. but with a twist – three women vocalists.
The final program of the season will be held on Sunday, August 29 at 6 p.m. Gathering Time, a Long Island-based folk-rock/Americana/AAA trio, will perform ‘60s and ‘70s classic and old traditional tunes along with original songs.
