East Windsor Recycling Day Set For April 1

There will be paper shredding, electronics collection, and charitable donations.

EAST WINDSOR, NJ — East Windsor will host a Recycling Day on April 1, and all residents are encouraged to participate.

The Township event will take place between 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the East Windsor Township Senior Center, which is located at 40 Lanning Boulevard. This event is sponsored by Mayor Janice Mironov and Council Members in conjunction with the East Windsor Clean Communities Committee.

Free document shredding will be available to East Windsor residents to dispose of unwanted and unneeded documents. There is a limit of 10 boxes per household, and the service is limited to East Windsor residents. No commercial entities are permitted.

Residents will also be able to drop off cell phones, fluorescent bulbs and toner cartridges, as well as used electronics, computers, computer equipment and televisions.

The EastWindsor/Hightstown Lions Club will be collecting used eye glasses. RISE will have trucks on-site to collect clothing, shoes, blankets, housewares (plates, mugs and related items) and working household appliances and electronics.
