
The Islamic Society of Central New Jersey is desperately seeking healthy South Asians ages 18-60 for a free, painless bone marrow compatibility test. All it takes is a 30-second cheek swab to determine if you're compatible with Rayan, a 3-year-old in urgent need of a bone marrow transplant due to his acute lymphoblastic leukemia, a form of blood cancer.
Gender and blood type are unimportant, but ethnicity is a must. If you are selected, the donation process is easy and similar to giving blood. A donor must be found within two weeks.
