Expert Gardener To Talk Birds And Bees In Mercer County
"Birds, Bees, Butterflies and Blooms," takes place on Saturday, Jan. 28, 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Tulpehaking Nature Center.

Naturalist Mary Anne Borge will discuss ways to make gardens more attractive and hospitable for birds and bees during an upcoming program hosted by the Rutgers Master Gardeners of Mercer County.
“Birds, Bees, Butterflies and Blooms,” takes place on Saturday, Jan. 28, 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Tulpehaking Nature Center, 157 Westcott Avenue, Hamilton.
Borge will also share her beautiful photographs to help gardeners plan for the upcoming growing season. An optional guided walk will follow the presentation.

This program is co-sponsored with the Friends for the Abbott Marshlands and the Mercer County Park Commission. Space is limited and registration is required for both the presentation and walk. The Master Gardeners of Mercer County is a volunteer educational outreach program of Rutgers Cooperative Extension, 930 Spruce Street, Lawrence.

Master Gardeners participate in many volunteer programs throughout the county and answer home horticulture questions through their Rutgers Master Gardener Helpline, 609-989-6853. The hotline is open Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. November through February, and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. March through October.
