Hightstown Youth Athletes Named Eastern Region Scholars

HIGHTSTOWN, NJ — Eight student athletes from the Hightstown Rams organization were named to the 2017 Eastern Region Scholar Team for their accomplishments in the classroom and community.

This honor is bestowed upon the top football players and cheerleaders of the over 50,000 children participating in the Eastern Region’s five-state area. The Pop Warner Little Scholar Program requires a minimum 96 percent grade point average to apply, as well as community service involvement.

The students received this honor at the Scholar Dinner and Awards Ceremony on March 18, 2017, at the Philadelphia Airport Marriott.
