Possession Of CDS, Impersonating An Officer: East Windsor Police Blotter
A man falsely claimed to be a Philadelphia police officer when stopped by East Windsor police.
EAST WINDSOR, NJ – This East Windsor police blotter this week cntained the following reports:
On Jan. 14 at 1:46 a.m., an officer conducted a motor vehicle stop on Route 133, after noticing that the vehicle failed to maintain its lane of travel. The officer was granted consent to search the vehicle after the driver admitted to having CDS in the vehicle. On completing a search of the vehicle, the officer found crystal methamphetamine, gamma butyrolactone (GBL) and CDS paraphernalia.. The driver also exhibited signs of impairment and was placed under arrest after failing field sobriety tests. The Bronx, NY resident was later released pending court action.
On Jan. 17, an officer responded to another jurisdiction and took custody of a man for an outstanding warrant. During processing, the 44-year-old man was found to be in possession of heroin and CDS paraphernalia. He was issued a complaint summons for the offenses and later transported to the Mercer County Corrections Center for the outstanding warrant. ..

On Jan. 17 at 1: 33 a.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle stop on Rt. 33, after seeing the vehicle traveling well under the speed limit and having a non-functioning license plate light.. Investigation revealed that both the driver and the passenger were in possession of drug paraphernalia. The Hamilton, NJ and Torrington CT residents were placed under arrest and later released pending court action.
On Jan. 17 at 2:59 a.m., an officer conducted a field inquiry with a pedestrian in the area of Haldeman Ford after noticing the 26-year-old unsafely cross the highway. During the inquiry, the person provided the officer with false information regarding his identification and falsely claimed to be a Philadelphia police officer. The man was placed under arrest and issued a complaint summons for the offenses. He was transported to the Mercer County Corrections Center for an outstanding warrant issued by the New York City Police Department.
