Kohl's Store in West Windsor Closing
A total of 18 underperforming stores will close this year.

The only Kohl’s store in New Jersey that will be closing as part of the chain’s national plan to close underperforming stores is in Mercer County.
The store at 200 Nassau Park Boulevard in West Windsor will close effective June 19, the chain announced. It is one of 17 underperforming stores that will close that day nationwide. The store in Lithonia, Georgia, will close on Nov. 1.
Employees will be offered the chance to work at a nearby Kohl’s. There is a Kohl’s located on Route 18 in East Brunswick. Each store typically employs between 80 and 100 people.

Kohl’s decided which stores would be closed based on reviews of the other stores in each trade area, the rent and expenses involved in operating any location, and how each customer base is evolving and adapting to the company’s integrated omnichannel efforts.
Kohl’s will open seven “smaller format” stores around the country, but didn’t announce those locations yet. It will also open 12 new FILA outlet stores.
