Man Seriously Injured After Car Crashes Into Tree In West Windsor
The 33-year-old suffered multiple serious but non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
MERCER COUNTY, NJ — A 42-year-old Hamilton Township man was seriously injured when his car crashed into two trees, West Windsor Police said.
On Thursday, around 3:32 p.m., police received a report of a crash involving a single vehicle and a tree on Old Trenton Road in the area of Cottonwood Drive.
According to the initial investigation, a 2020 Honda Passport was traveling Southbound on Old Trenton Road, approaching Cottonwood Drive. For an unknown reason, the car drifted across the center line and into the Northbound lane before leaving the road, where it struck a tree on the driver's side, police said.

The vehicle continued forward in the Northbound shoulder, where it struck another tree head-on. The second impact caused significant intrusion into the driver's compartment, police said.
The 33-year-old man was treated by EMS and paramedics on the scene and taken to Capital Health Regional Medical Center for treatment of multiple serious but non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.

The road was closed in the area for approximately two hours. The identity of the driver is being withheld pending investigation.
