MCCC, USciences Sign Transfer Agreement For STEM Students
Students can transfer under an agreement signed on Oct. 20.

WEST WINDSOR, NJ — Mercer County Community College (MCCC) students pursuing a career in math, engineering, or the sciences can now transfer to University of the Sciences in Philadelphia (USciences) with full junior status under a new guaranteed transfer agreement signed by the two institutions Oct. 20.
“University of the Sciences is pleased to provide students from Mercer County Community College a pathway to continuing their educational pursuits,” USciences President Dr. Paul Katz said. “The agreement with MCCC outlines a seamless transition to a USciences major and ultimately, a rewarding career in the sciences.”
MCCC students majoring in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Engineering Science, or Mathematics are eligible to transfer to USciences, which offers 14 total degrees in those fields. Additionally, MCCC Business Administration majors will have the opportunity to transfer into the USciences bachelor’s degree program in Pharmaceutical and Healthcare Business.

Any student who wishes to take advantage of the program must meet GPA requirements that vary for individual majors, as well as grade standards for certain courses. They will be able to transfer up to 90 credits, with full junior status.
“Students choosing careers in these challenging STEM disciplines deserve every opportunity to succeed, and this agreement with USciences provides a clear academic path leading to rewarding careers,” MCCC President Dr. Jianping Wang said. “We welcome USciences as a partner in our efforts to ensure student success”
