McGraw-Hill Federal Credit Union's The VOICE Foundation Raises $5,000 for Children's Miracle Network

EAST WINDSOR, NJ; January 21, 2015 - The VOICE Foundation, the charitable giving association of East Windsor, NJ-headquartered McGraw-Hill Federal Credit Union, embraced the season of giving and raised money for a worthwhile cause during its annual ornament fundraiser for The Children’s Miracle Network. This year, the Foundation raised $5,000 by reaching out to its members through a series of e-mails and a passionate effort led by its tellers and Member Care Team representatives. Donations were symbolically displayed as holiday tree ornaments at the credit union’s headquarters in East Windsor, N.J.

The $5,000 donation will be sent to the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia to support research and training initiatives, equipment purchases/upgrades, and pay for uncompensated care. The credit union holds this fundraiser annually and recognizes this effort as an opportunity to rally its employees and membership base and raise money for a worthwhile cause.

“The generosity of our members was on full display this holiday season as they joined us in showing our continued commitment for the wellness of our community and demonstrating what can happen when people come together to support a great cause like Children’s Miracle Network hospitals,” said Joy Beans, Chair of the VOICE Foundation.
