Mercer County Man Arrested, Drugs And Money Seized: Prosecutor
Marquise Gray was arrested following a two-week investigation on Nov. 3.

One person was arrested and three pounds of marijuana and $16,000 in cash were seized following a two-week investigation recently by the Mercer County Narcotics Task Force, Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri said on Thursday.
Marquise Gray, 27, is charged with possession of marijuana, possession with the intent to distribute, possession with the intent to distribute within 1,000 feet of a school and possession with the intent to distribute within 500 feet of a park.
He was arrested without incident during a traffic stop at about 11:30 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 3, in Trenton. He was the target of the investigation, Onofri said. Detectives then executed a court-authorized search warrant at his apartment, where they said they found three pounds of marijuana, $16,000 in cash and numerous rounds of handgun ammunition.

The seized marijuana has an approximate street value of $8,400, according to Prosecutor’s Sergeant Brian Kiely. Following his arrest, Gray was released pending future court proceedings.
The arrest and search were conducted by officers with the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office, the Mercer County Sheriff’s Office, and the Hamilton and Trenton police, under the command of the prosecutor’s Special Investigations Unit.
