Mercer Pairs Pet Adoptions With Fire Truck Tours This Weekend

MERCER COUNTY, NJ - The City of Trenton Department of Health & Human Services, in partnership with the Trenton Fire Department, will host a "Wet-Noses & Fire Hoses" pet adoption event Saturday, July 25, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Trenton Fire Department Headquarters, 244 Perry Street.

The event will give residents the opportunity to meet adoptable pets and learn about the adoption process. Attendees will also be able to take part in a fire truck tour and other event activities.

The event is designed to bring together animal welfare, public safety, and community engagement while connecting shelter pets with potential adopters.

Residents interested in adopting a pet are asked to complete an application in advance by scanning the QR code on the event flyer or visiting the event link. Additional pet information is also available through PetFinder using the corresponding QR code.
