Hovione to add $35M continuous tableting line at New Jersey site (pharmamanufacturing.com) — Hovione is investing $35 million in a new continuous tableting line at its East Windsor campus, further expanding local pharmaceutical manufacturing capacity and capabilities. The project connects existing spray-drying operations with tablet production, supports highly potent compounds, and is expected to be commissioned in late 2027, strengthening East Windsor's role in New Jersey's drug development industry.

County funding keeps Route 130 Connection rolling (princetoninfo.com) — Bus riders in East Windsor will keep their vital Route 130 Connection service thanks to $60,000 in new NJ Transit funding that prevents cuts after federal aid expires. The route links East Windsor and Hightstown with Trenton, Hamilton, Mercer County Community College, and the Exit 8A warehouse district, including early-morning and late-night runs for workers at major employers like Amazon and UPS.

Drug services industry touts capacity investments (acs.org) — East Windsor is getting a boost as Hovione opens a new facility that doubles its U.S. capacity to spray dry drug ingredients and plans a $35 million tableting plant next year. The projects will employ about 80 people and create an integrated site where drug molecules can be synthesized, spray dried, and turned into tablets, strengthening the town's pharmaceutical presence.

Men's Basketball Re-Signs 11-Year-Old Trent Powers to Roster (scarletknights.com) — An 11-year-old East Windsor resident, Trent Powers, has re-signed as Rutgers men's basketball's Team IMPACT honoree, continuing his special role with the Scarlet Knights.
