Police Blotter: Disorderly Conduct, Obstruction Justice and Criminal Mischief

Police reported several incidents this week involving people allegedly behaving badly.

Police Say Man Was Drunken and Disorderly

Jaquann Coleman, 26, of Railroad Avenue, Hightstown, was charged June 20 with disorderly conduct.

said they responded to the Hightstown Housing Authority at 2:13 a.m. for a report of an altercation and arrived to find Coleman “in a highly intoxicated state acting in a tumultuous manner.” Police said he was released once he was sober.

Screen Smashed Out

said they responded to a Bennington Drive residence at 10:10 p.m. June 20 after a resident told them he heard a loud noise from the front of his house and found the bottom portion of his screen had been smashed out. The damage was estimated at $100, police reported.

Man Allegedly Kicked in Door

Edison Quizhpi, 26, of Hamilton, was charged June 18 with criminal mischief.

East Windsor Police said they responded to Windsor Castle Apartments at 10:15 a.m. for a report of a disturbance and found Quizhpi had kicked in the door to an apartment. The damage was estimated at $200.

Police: Suspended Driver Jumped Out and Ran Away

Michael T. Bourgeois, 24, of Princeton Arms North, East Windsor, was charged June 18 with obstruction of justice, hindering apprehension, disorderly conduct, failure to maintain lane, failure to signal turn, careless driving and suspended driver’s license.

Police said they stopped him at 2:38 a.m. on Maplestream Road after seeing him driving erratically in a blue Chevrolet on Route 130 and then turning onto Maplestream Road. When the officer turned on his lights, police said Bourgeois stopped the car suddenly, left the vehicle and ran into the woods.

An investigation revealed Bourgeois’ license was suspended and that he had outstanding warrants, police reported. Bourgeois was later arrested and sent to the Mercer County Detention Center in lieu of bail on outstanding warrants from several different jurisdictions.

Egg Broke Apartment Window

East Windsor Police responded to Windsor Regency Apartments at 10:39 p.m. for a report of a window that had just been broken. Police said they found someone had thrown an egg through the window, breaking it and causing $200 damage.

Police Say Man Fled When Officer Approached

Marco Gaudin, 37, of Danbury Court, East Windsor, was charged June 17 with obstructing justice and disorderly conduct.

East Windsor Police said they saw him with three other men “engaged in suspicious activity” on Madison Drive at 10 p.m. When an officer approached, police said Gaudin ran away and was soon located and arrested on Abbington Drive.
