Possession of CDS, Reckless Driving: East Windsor Police Blotter

A patrol officer's car was rear-ended while stopped at a red traffic light. Both the officer and the driver of the vehicle were uninjured.

EAST WINDSOR, NJ: The latest East Windsor police blotter contained the following reports:

EDISON, NJ – On Dec. 29, at 1:10 a.m., police conducted a motor vehicle stop after noticing that a driver failed to signal a turn on Route 33. The officer was given consent to search the car and found prescription medication, and drug paraphernalia. The 25-year-old Aberdeen resident was taken into custody and later released pending court action.

On Dec. 31, at 10:07 p.m., a patrol officer’s car was rear-ended while stopped at a red traffic light at the intersection of Route 33 and Milford Road. Both the officer and the driver were uninjured. The driver of the vehicle, a 25-year-old East Windsor resident, exhibited signs of impairment and was placed under arrest after failing field sobriety tests, police said. The driver was later released pending court action.

On Jan. 4, at 9:50 p.m., an officer conducted a motor vehicle stop on Route 33 after noticing that a vehicle failed to maintain its lane of travel. The driver exhibited signs of impairment and was placed under arrest after failing field sobriety tests, police said. The 25-year-old East Windsor resident was later released pending court action.
