EAST WINDSOR, NJ – The East Windsor Police blotter dated Thursday, Feb. 23 contains the following reports:

On Feb. 16 at 1:43 a.m., an officer conducted a motor vehicle stop on Stockton Street after seeing a vehicle drive with no headlights. The driver exhibited signs of impairment and was placed under arrest after failing field sobriety tests. The 28-year-old Hightstown man was later released pending court action.

On Feb 18, at 2:47 p.m., an officer responded to ShopRite on Route 130 on a reported shoplifting. According to investigation, two Pennsylvania men left the store without paying $519.98 worth of merchandise. They were later identified and charged on a complaint summons.

On Feb. 19 at 9:34 p.m., an officer conducted a motor vehicle stop on Route 33 after noticing the vehicle failed to maintain its lane of travel. The driver, a 26-year-old East Windsor resident, failed all field sobriety tests and was placed under arrest. He was later released pending court action.
