A Star of the future… and judging from the crowd at this show, the future is now!” So wrote a reviewer from the Aquarian Weekly, the leading mid-Atlantic region entertainment paper, after a performance by Lisa Bouchelle.

Lisa has performed duets with Jon Bon Jovi and John Popper, and sung backup for Bruce Springsteen, Rob Thomas of Matchbox Twenty, Cyndi Lauper, and Daryl Hall, among others. She has done national tours with Meat Loaf, Blues Traveler, Ted Nugent, America, and The Dusk Ray Troubadours. and opened for Bryan Adams, Kansas, Train, John Waite, Joan Jett, David Bromberg, Nancy Sinatra, Ingrid Michaelson, the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Hot Tuna, Southside Johnny & The Jukes, Richard Marx, Sophie B. Hawkins, Gary U.S. Bonds, Nils Lofgren, Dar Williams, The Wailers, and members of Phish and the Jerry Garcia Band, among others. Lisa also hosts “Rock Star Kitchen,” which airs weekly on The Comcast Network and in syndication throughout the US. As host of the show, she has talked music and sung with Foreigner, Eddie Money, Lita Ford, Theory Of A Deadman, John Popper, Bowling For Soup, Emerson Hart of Tonic, Candlebox, Chubby Checker, Gary US Bonds, Cy Curnin of The Fixx, Night Ranger, Peter Mayer of Jimmy Buffett’s Coral Reefer Band, and Corey Glover of Living Colour.

Lisa first started singing at a young age, and sang non-stop… because although her parents loved her deeply, the only time they would stop their constant arguing was when little Lisa sang. Now, after losing her father to complications from a heart operation, and her mother to alcoholism, she still finds refuge in her music.

And that music has kept her going, whether it be going on tour by driving herself thousands of miles around the country in her car, or flying to Japan to perform for Japanese fans. Her style has been compared to Sheryl Crow, Jewel, and Jason Mraz, but what sets her music apart is an edge reminiscent of classic artists such as Neil Young and Tom Petty.

Luke Elliot’s music has been steadily gaining more and more attention since his debut EP, Death of a Widow, was released by Yerbird Records in 2010. The EP gained him a dedicated fan base that followed him through a circuit of venues across the Northeast. The music, comprised of an eclectic mix of genres and ideas, gained him critical acclaim as an artist to pay attention to. Beginning in New York’s Lower East Side, Elliot and his band quickly made their way from the dive bar scene to some of New York’s more popular venues, from the Mercury Lounge to the Bitter End. Gaining a reputation as an ever-evolving live act, they began gaining popularity in Philadelphia, headlining venues such as the North Star and World Cafe Live.

In 2011, Luke was approached by director Paul Cantagallo to compose for a new film, “Benny the Bum.” His first scoring effort brought to light his musical dexterity. Acknowledged previously as a live performer and recording artist alone, Elliot has become someone recognized for being able to play many roles. Writing the title song for the film began to give Luke prominence westward, as the picture won Best Local Film at the 2012 Philadelphia Independent Film Festival. He and his band, guitarist Jim McGee, bassist Ed Barber, and drummer Dan Peck, performed live at the historic First Unitarian Church for the Festival’s film screening.

With a busy tour schedule, and now presence as an accomplished composer, Elliot has begun to develop more and more public and media attention. His latest EP, Provisions, was released in June 2014.
