PSE&G Plans to Construct a Mock Neighborhood at Training Facility in Edison (TAPinto.net) β Edison residents should know that PSE&G is seeking zoning approval on October 13 to expand its Silver Lake Learning Center with a mock neighborhood-style training area on Silverlake Road. The project would slightly enlarge the existing training footprint and add roads, sidewalks, lighting, and landscaping to better simulate real communities for utility worker training.

Middlesex College Engineering Students Gain Hands-On Experience in Construction on Edison Campus (TAPinto.net) β Middlesex College students in Edison spent the summer working alongside DCO Energy professionals on major campus projects, including a sustainable microgrid and solar carports. Their internships blended hands-on construction work with project management tasks, helping them build real-world engineering, teamwork, and problem-solving skills while directly improving the Edison campus infrastructure.

Wardlaw+Hartridge Students Celebrate Mid-Autumn Festival (TAPinto.net) β Students at the Wardlaw+Hartridge School in Edison recently marked the Mid-Autumn Festival with moon cake making, crafts, poetry, and songs that highlighted themes of family and gratitude. The celebration gave international and Chinese language students in grades 9β12 a chance to share traditions, build friendships, and showcase the cultural diversity within the Edison school community.
