Bridgewater, N.J. (March 2026) – Visions and Pathways, a leading provider of shelter and support services
for displaced and at-risk youth in New Jersey, is excited to announce its upcoming Run and Walk fundraiser on
April 18, 2026, 8:00am, at Duke Island Park, 191 Old York Road, Bridgewater, NJ 08807.
The Run and Walk will be a fun-filled day with family and friends, perfect for everyone from the competitive
runner to the joyful walker. Proceeds from the event will directly support Visions and Pathways’ Wellness
program for homeless and at-risk youth. Registration is $35 per person or $20 for anyone 18 and under, with a
$3 discount for USATF members. Kids Sprints are also available for children aged 2 to 7, at $10 each. Sign up

Visions and Pathways’ Wellness program offers new activities every week through a holistic approach to youth
development, combining arts, recreation, fitness, nutrition, and faith/spirituality. Some past Wellness activities
include a greenhouse workshop at Kean University, bowling night at Bowlero, a cooking class led by a realworld chef, and Journey to Manhood mentoring program for young men.
“We are thrilled to be hosting this event for the 28th year in a row,” said Jai West, Visions and Pathways Board
President. “These wellness programs will provide vital support for the youth in our program and in our
community, offering them opportunities to learn about themselves and the world around them.”
The Run and Walk will feature a 5K USATF-sanctioned course, complete with professional timing service
thanks to our finish line sponsor, Pure Insurance. The event will also feature a 2-mile nature walk, kids sprints,
a cash raffle, awards, a DJ, and more. Batman and his Batmobile will be there too! Join us for an unforgettable
day of fun and fitness and make a difference in the lives of homeless and at-risk youth.
