Developer Proposes Building With Rooftop Restaurant, Bar In Edison
The developer is seeking preliminary and final site plan approval to construct the building.
EDISON, NJ – A developer is seeking to build a six-story building which will have a rooftop restaurant and bar in Edison. The application will be brought to the Zoning Board at their next meeting.
Shivaay Developers LLC is seeking preliminary and final site plan approval to construct the building with the rooftop bar and restaurant at 90 Municipal Blvd., according to the application. The maximum number of stories permitted is three, where six has been proposed.
The developer is seeking bulk variance relief for front yard setback where 100 feet is required and 63 feet is proposed along Hoey Drive and 37.5 along Municipal Boulevard.

A total of 314 off-street parking spaces are required and 48 on-site spaces are proposed, according to documents. The remaining will be provided through a shared parking agreement.
The minimum lot area required is 80,000 square feet, and 61,865 square feet is proposed.
