Disability Support Center Holding Open House In Edison

Learn about programs offered by The Alliance Center for Independence.

From ACI: The Alliance Center for Independence (ACI) will hold an open house at its office in Edison on the evening of Thursday January 11 th 2018. Time 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm. ACI invites the community to attend and learn about its programs and services and how they benefit people with disabilities.

This free event, entitled “Making Spirits Bright,” will feature a power point presentation on the agency’s activities and services, a tour of its expanded facility and dinner. ACI will also recognize and honor some of its supporters who have contributed to its success over the past several years. “This special evening is our opportunity to talk about the impact ACI has had on the community, while spotlighting our achievements and recognizing our supporters”, said Carole Tonks, Executive Directive of the Alliance Center for Independence. This year’s honorees include: NJ Assemblyman Eric Houghtaling, of Neptune Township, La Bonbonniere Bake Shoppes of Edison, the Guaranteed Rate Mortgage, of Iselin and Konica Minolta of Edison. Alcides (Al) Gomez of Perth Amboy will receive the ACI volunteer award for his many years of dedicated service.
