Edison Home On Oak Tree Rd. Raided: Meth, Roofies Found, Cops Say

Police raided a home on Oak Tree Rd. in Edison on Wednesday and said they found meth and several quantities of GHB, the 'date rape drug.'

EDISON, NJ — A joint investigation with police departments in Edison, Piscataway and South Plainfield has led to the arrest of four men who allegedly had methamphetamine and "date rape drugs," and were selling it out of their home on Oak Tree Road in Edison, the Middlesex County prosecutor announced Thursday.

Police raided the home on Oak Tree Road in Edison on Wednesday, Sept. 5 of this week and said they found three ounces of methamphetamine, several quantities of GHB (the date rape drug) and eight additional ounces of methamphetamine in a car parked outside.

Kurt Langlois, 43, and Trevis Lopez, 28, both of Edison, were arrested and charged with a variety of second-degree and third-degree charges, including possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession with intent to distribute.

Prior to that, as part of the same investigation, on Tuesday of this week police searched a second car and seized an ounce of methamphetamine, several bottles of GHB and prescription drugs. This was with the assistance of Piscataway and South Plainfield police and the New Jersey State Police Hazmat Unit.

Two more men were arrested and charged: Chester Wans, 54, of Edison and Wesley Rosario, 22, of New York City.
