Edison Schools Announce Substitute Teacher Workshop
To substitute in the school district, individuals need to attend one of the workshops offered by the school board.
EDISON, NJ — The Edison School District is conducting a workshop for substitute teachers on Sep. 23. The first session begins 9 a.m.-10 a.m., followed by the second session from 11 a.m.-12 p.m.
Registration is required for this two-hour workshop, which will be conducted at the Board of Education building, located at 312 Pierson Avenue.
To substitute in Edison Public Schools, individuals need to attend one of the workshops offered by the district. These workshops are offered four times a year.

There are no charges to attend the workshops, but prior registration is required.
Individuals need to have a minimum of 60 college credits to qualify as a substitute teacher. Last date to register is Sep. 21.

The district will provide new hire paperwork at the end of the workshop.
