Edison's Coronavirus Count Rises To 10; Woodbridge Has Nine

The count of Edison residents who tested positive is now up to ten by Thursday afternoon; Woodbridge is at nine cases.

EDISON, NJ — The count of Edison residents who have tested positive for the coronavirus is now up to ten by Thursday afternoon, Edison Twp. announced.

The ten Edison cases are, according to Edison Police Captain Kenneth Schreck:

  • A woman, 34, on home isolation
  • A woman, 63, on home isolation
  • A man, 51, self-quarantined
  • A woman, 51, who has been self-quarantined
  • A man, 53, who self-quarantined
  • A man, 26, who self-quarantined
  • A woman, 32, placed on home isolation
  • A woman, 31, placed on home isolation
  • A woman, 72, and her husband, 74, who both tested positive and are self quarantining. Both cases are linked to cruise last month. The man is hospitalized.

Woodbridge Twp. has nine cases: Six are elderly residents of the same health care facility; another is an elderly couple who live together and a single male in his 30s.
