Election 2021: Vote-By-Mail Drop Box In Edison-Metuchen

Middlesex County recently set up over 30 vote-by-mail drop boxes, including four in Edison and Metuchen

EDISON, NJ – The Middlesex County Board of Elections has set up secure drop box locations in Edison and Metuchen, where residents can place the mail-in ballots for the upcoming election.

Here are the locations:

Edison

Edison Municipal Complex
100 Municipal Boulevard
(Dropbox is located between the parking lot and Complex Building; by police the entrance.)

North Edison Library
777 Grove Ave
(Outside the Municipal Complex entrance under awning.)

Middlesex County College – College Center
2600 Woodbridge Avenue
(In front of the library.)

Metuchen

Metuchen Municipal Complex
500 Main Street
(Located within the parking lot, in the safe zone.)

These locations are among more than 30 secure drop box locations across Middlesex County installed for voters to securely submit completed ballots.

A complete list of secure drop box locations can be found on the County website. All drop boxes are accessible 24 hours a day, and all of them are subject to video surveillance and other security measures.

Edison and Metuchen residents will vote for governor and state legislative seats, as well as local school board and mayor.

In Edison, Democrat Sam Joshi will face Republican Keith Hahn in the mayoral race. There are six candidates for three council seats — Tali Epstein, Joseph Luistro, and Payal Mehta (R); and Margot Harris, John Poyner, and Nishith Patel (D).
