Endangered Man In Edison Is Found: Police

Breaking: If you see him, call police immediately.

EDISON, NJ — Police have found a 29-year-old patient who walked out of JFK Medical Center at 5:45 a.m. Friday, and was last seen walking down James Street toward Route 27.

The patient, Akeem K. Benson, was wearing green hospital scrubs and white socks. Police described Benson as 5-feet, 6-inches tall and between 150-160 pounds, noting that he had no belongs or money on him when he left the hospital.

He was found at his mother's residence in the Bronx. Police were unclear how Benson made his way there, but he was taken to a hospital in Manhattan for further treatment.

Police warned residents to "use caution" and to not approach.
