Free English Classes at the Metuchen YMCA to Help Community Members Learn and Connect
Helping local residents improve English skills for free in a welcoming, community-focused setting
The Metuchen YMCA is offering free English as a Second Language (ESL) classes, giving local residents the opportunity to improve their English skills in a supportive and community-based setting.
Classes will be held at the YMCA on the following schedule:
- Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30 - 7 P.M.
- Fridays from 9:30 - 11 A.M.
Start dates are set for September 25 (Thursday classes), September 26 (Friday classes) and October 7 (Tuesday classes).

These classes are open to adults of all backgrounds and language levels. Participants will gain confidence in speaking English while also building friendships with one another.
