Free Narcan Training Coming Up In Metuchen

Learn how to use the life-saving medication at a free training.

METUCHEN, NJ — The Metuchen Municipal Alliance is sponsoring a free Narcan training session in the borough next month for anyone who wants to learn how to use the life-saving medication.

The training and education event will be held at the Metuchen Senior Center (15 Center Street) on Jan. 11 at 7 p.m. It is limited to the first 30 people on a first-come, first-served basis. Participants will also receive a free Narcan kit.

The Opioid Overdose Prevention Project is funded by the New Jersey Governor’s Council on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse (GCADA), the New Jersey Department of Human Services, Division of Mental Health and Addiction Services, the Middlesex County Office of Human Services, and JSAS HealthCare, Inc.
