Free U.S. Citizenship Workshop Coming To Edison Public Library In April

Jewish Family Services of Middlesex County will walk attendees through the naturalization process, civics test and interview prep.

EDISON, NJ — Residents seeking information about becoming U.S. citizens can attend a free workshop next month at the Edison Public Library hosted in partnership with Jewish Family Services of Middlesex County.

The citizenship information session is scheduled for Monday, April 27, at 7 p.m. at the library's main branch, located at 340 Plainfield Ave. The event will cover the naturalization process, interview preparation and the civics test. Interpreter services are available upon request.

The session will also be livestreamed on YouTube. A link will be posted at this link beginning April 13.

Jewish Family Services of Middlesex County is a nonprofit social services agency accredited by the U.S. Department of Justice to provide immigration legal assistance.

Its immigration and citizenship services are funded in part by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and the IOLTA Fund of the Bar of New Jersey.
