Juveniles Charged For Entering Metuchen School, Causing Lockdown: Cops
On Wednesday morning, Metuchen High School was placed under lockdown after two strangers were found inside the school.
METUCHEN, NJ — Two juveniles have been charged with an act of juvenile delinquency for offenses which if committed by an adult would constitute Criminal Trespass after they entered a Metuchen school and caused a lockdown, Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and Chief Arthur Flaherty of the Metuchen Police Department said.
On Wednesday morning, two unidentified juveniles entered the Metuchen High School. Shortly after entering the school, they were identified as non-students, Ciccone said. Out of an abundance of caution and to facilitate a further search, the school was placed on lockdown. More: Metuchen School Placed On Lockdown After Strangers Found Inside: Cops
