Metuchen To Host Halloween Poster Painting Contest
In light of the coronavirus, residents can pick up their supplies and participate in the poster painting contest from home.
METUCHEN , NJ — Halloween this year will be different due to the coronavirus pandemic, that continues to impact life. But the Borough of Metuchen is planning to bring some Halloween fun to residents by organizing a poster painting competition.
This year the Halloween poster painting contest will be a grab-and-go affair. The Recreation Department will give participants all the supplies they need to create a Halloween poster for their homes.
Contents of the box will include paints, paint brush, treats, a craft, glow light, poster paper and more.

10 lucky boxes will include a prize gift certificate to a downtown fun spot. The contents of each box may differ, said the recreation department.
The cost of the box is $8.00. Those who wish to purchase multiple boxes must register each child so that the recreation department has an accurate count.
