Metuchen has partnered with Simplicity to introduce a new app to provide vital borough updates to residents.
METUCHEN, NJ — Looking for a way to stay updated on everything that's happening in town? Thanks to a new app, the information will now be available at your fingertips.
Metuchen has partnered with Simplicity, a cutting-edge mobile application, to introduce a new app for residents.
Through the Simplicity app, residents can access vital borough updates, municipal services, emergency alerts, and more delivered straight to their smartphones.

The information on the app will be available in multiple languages, including English and Spanish, and the interface is quite user-friendly.
Most townships across New Jersey use Nixle or CivicReady systems to send updates to residents. But this app will make all information available in one convenient place.

"The integration of Simplicity into our communication infrastructure strengthens our ability to connect with residents and provide them with timely and engaging information,” Mayor Jonathan M Busch said.
“We are excited to leverage innovative solutions that enhance communication and services the Borough provides our residents."
Through the Simplicity app, residents can get important updates and notifications such as emergency alerts, service disruptions, road closures, and upcoming events. The app is already being used in over 100 cities, including areas like the San Francisco Bay Area, New York, Miami, and Chicago suburbs.
Niko Dubovsky, Head of Business Development at Simplicity, the company was “honored” to partner with Metuchen for this platform.
"This collaboration marks a significant step forward in empowering cities to connect with their residents efficiently and effectively," Dubovsky said.

The app is available for download at the Apple App Store and Google Play.
