Shooting At NJ Halloween Party In Edison; Manhunt Underway
A shooting happened at a Halloween party in New Jersey, and a manhunt is underway. Video of scene available.
One person was shot early Friday at a Halloween party in New Jersey, and a manhunt for the suspect is underway, police said.
The incident happened around 1 a.m. when police got reports of shots fired at Harolds New York Deli located at 3050 Woodbridge Ave. in Edison, according to RLS Media.
They arrived to find a crowd of people attending a Halloween Party and one person suffering a gunshot wound, according to the report. EMS rushed the victim to an area hospital where their condition was not known at press time.

Three rounds of gunshots rang out from the crowd, but party-goers didn't believe the shots were real until they saw others run and fall to the ground, according to the report. One person was seen leaving the scene in a light-colored vehicle and is believed to be the gunman.
An investigation is active and ongoing. We'll have more information as it comes in.
