Cedar Hill Preparatory School Announces Global Issues Change Maker Pitch Competition for Summer 2026

One-week problem-solving and leadership program open to all Grade 7 and 8 students

SOMERSET, NJ — April 1, 2026 — Cedar Hill Preparatory School is excited to announce the Global Issues Change Maker Pitch Competition, a dynamic one-week summer program open to all Grade 7 and 8 students in the community.

Running July 13–17, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM Monday through Friday, the program challenges students to research real global issues, develop innovative solutions using a six-step problem-solving process, and present their ideas in a live pitch competition on the final day.

Students will explore future scenarios, think critically about today's most pressing global challenges, and build the confidence and leadership skills needed to drive meaningful change.

Program Details:

• Grades: 7 and 8
• Dates: July 13–17, 2026
• Time: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM (Monday–Friday)
• Class Size: Limited to 20 students
• Open to: All Grade 7 and 8 students in the community
