Supercharged Entertainment Seeks To Build Additional Parking At Edison Facility
With the facility currently booming, the indoor go-karting arena needs more parking space to accommodate visitors.
EDISON, NJ — Supercharged Entertainment, touted to be the world’s largest indoor, multi-level karting track, is seeking the township’s approval to build additional parking at its Edison facility.
Supercharged is seeking preliminary and final site plan approval to construct additional parking, a total of 76 stalls, close to the facility.
“This is a measure to accommodate the additional need for parking. As and when the site evolves, the parking may be removed and reconfigured,” a representative of Supercharged told the Planning Board during the Aug. 14 meeting.

The original approval required 429 parking spots, while the original application proposed 326 parking spots. During that hearing there was an agreement between Supercharged and the Planning Board to eliminate 26 parking spots at the northeast corner, the company engineer said. Based on the agreement, 300 parking stalls were constructed.
