True Food Kitchen To Open Oct. 17 In Edison, Now Hiring Staff

EDISON, NJ — We told you back in June, that True Food Kitchen is opening a new location in Edison. The restaurant on Monday announced an opening date.

The award-winning seasonally-inspired restaurant and craft bar will be opening at Menlo Park Mall, Oct. 17.

This will be the brand’s second restaurant in New Jersey and 43rd location nationwide.

“We are thrilled to bring the True Food Kitchen experience to the Edison, New Jersey community,” Christine Barone, True Food Kitchen CEO said in a statement. “Our extensive menu will inspire individuals throughout this on-the-go town to eat better, feel better, and live better through our delicious and good-for-you menu.”

Co-founded by integrative medicine expert, Dr. Andrew Weil, the restaurant’s menu offers a variety of dishes and beverages for lunch, dinner and weekend brunch that adheres to his anti-inflammatory food pyramid, which aims to counteract chronic inflammation and focuses on eating foods that help maintain optimal health.

True Food Kitchen in Edison will feature a dining room with 189 seats, an open kitchen, a private dining room to accommodate up to eight guests, a separate To-Go entrance and counter, and a full-service bar.

The restaurant will feature two patio sections covered and open trellis seating 82 guests. Eco-friendly materials will feature prominently throughout the restaurant.

With the opening of the new location, the restaurant is hiring over 150 team members including servers, bartenders, hosts, chefs, cooks, dishwashers and more.

A three-week job fair will kick off on Monday. Benefits include competitive salaries, restaurant discounts, professional mentorship and growth opportunities.

• Sept. 12 – Sept. 17; 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
• Sept. 19 – Sept. 24; 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
• Sept. 26 – Oct. 1; 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
