Woman Killed In Motorcycle Crash In South Plainfield: MCPO

A 28-year-old woman was killed in a motorcycle accident on July 4 in South Plainfield, according to Middlesex County Prosecutor Andrew C. Carey.

Ruddy Custidio, 30, of Piscataway, the operator of the motorcycle, was taken to JFK Medical Center and treated for minor injuries.

Custidio has been issued motor vehicle summonses including driving while intoxicated pending further investigation, according to the MCPO.

The crash is being investigation by Lieutenant David DeLair of the South Plainfield Police Department and Detective Donald Heck of the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office.

The preliminary investigation has determined that Custidio while driving on New Brunswick Avenue near Carlton Way, lost control of his 2016 BMW motorcycle. The passenger was ejected and suffered catastrophic injuries, according to the MCPO.
