The 2024 Egg Harbor Township High School graduate impressed judges with a karate talent routine and her leadership in women’s self‑defense education, and she’ll now travel New Jersey before heading to the Miss America stage. 
• Atlantic County Democrats elect new leaders (breakingac.com) — Atlantic County Democrats have elected a new leadership team that includes Egg Harbor Township’s Barbara Makoski as committee secretary. With a new chair and vice chair focused on grassroots organizing and developing future candidates, the party says it wants to deepen ties with communities across the county, including Egg Harbor-area neighborhoods.
