• Driver attempting to avoid pedestrian crashes SUV into Elmwood Park gas station (news12.com) — An SUV flipped onto its side and crashed into the gas pumps at the Delta station on River Drive in Elmwood Park, leaving a gas station attendant and another driver with minor injuries. Emergency crews quickly shut off power to the pumps after spotting smoke and stabilized the scene. Police say the SUV driver may have suffered a medical episode while trying to avoid a pedestrian.
