ENGLEWOOD, NJ — P!NK is coming to Englewood for a conversation about parenting, but fans should not expect a concert.
The Grammy-winning singer will join clinical psychologist and bestselling author Dr. Shefali for a fireside chat at 7 p.m. Tuesday, September 15, at bergenPAC, 30 North Van Brunt Street.
The event is part of the book tour launch for Dr. Shefali's new books, Raising Conscious Daughters and Raising Conscious Sons, according to the venue's official event listing.
The books examine the emotional pressures facing children and offer parents guidance on helping them develop resilience, empathy, confidence and a stronger sense of identity. Dr. Shefali, the founder of the Conscious Parenting movement, draws from clinical cases and interviews with children and parents.
P!NK, who is also a mother, will moderate the discussion. Organizers emphasize that "P!NK will not perform or sing at this event. Her appearance is for moderation only."
Tickets cost $59, $69 or $79 and remain on sale. Each ticket includes admission and a copy of either Raising Conscious Daughters or Raising Conscious Sons.
The venue notes that there is no elevator access to the mezzanine or balcony.
