2. Night Ranger Adds 2027 Dates To Ongoing Tour (pollstar.com) — Night Ranger's current tour will wrap up 2026 with a stop in Englewood headlining the Bergen Performing Arts Center on December 13. The classic '80s rock band is extending its run into 2027, but local fans will get their chance to see them close to home before the new year.

Aurie Echevarría called to Puerto Rico's National Team for 4th time, will depart this month for Nations League matches (fortwaynefc.com) — An Englewood native, goalkeeper Aurie Echevarría has been called up once again to Puerto Rico's national soccer team for upcoming CONCACAF Nations League matches this fall. After starring at Rutgers and Butler and winning national titles with St. Benedict's Prep, he's now playing professionally for Fort Wayne FC while continuing to build his international résumé.
4. Michigan's 9/11 legacies: 16 terrorism victims with ties to the state (bnd.com) — Among the 16 people with Michigan ties remembered on this 9/11 anniversary is Frank Doyle, a finance executive and hockey enthusiast who played on several men's teams near his Englewood home. The long-form tribute recounts the lives, careers, and families of victims who built connections from Michigan to New York, preserving their stories for a new generation.
