Seeking Public Input, Woman's Club of Englewood Starts "Carriage House Conversations" Sept. 14

ENGLEWOD - Seeking input from the public on how to make Englewood and surrounding communities better, Woman's Club of Englewood is initiating "Carriage House Conversations" on Sept. 14, Monday, at 4:00 p.m. at its historic clubhouse here at 187 Brinckerhoff Court, near Lydecker and Palisade Ave.
Topics can range from affordable housing; flooding and climate resilience; safe streets; property reassessment and taxes, rents and displacement; schools and educational opportunity; and immigrant families and changing Federal policies; to hate, antisemitism, racism, Islamophombia and polarization. The session will also focus on a specific women's issue, such as childcare, maternal health care, violence against women, caregiving, girls' leadership, misogyny and inclusion in decision-making.
