The Bergen County Academies is proud to announce that Sabrina Gjerswold-Selleck is one of 8 B.C.A. students named as Regeneron Scholars. Prior to being accepted into the Bergen County Academies, Sabrina attended Leonia Middle School.
Three hundred high school seniors were named scholars in the 2017 Regeneron Science Talent Search, a program founded and produced by Society for Science & the Public. The scholars – chosen from more than 1,700 applicants – were selected on the basis of their exceptional promise as scientists, excellent record of academic achievement, and outstanding recommendations from teachers and other scientists.
“These exceptional students are true leaders and innovators – the top young scientists in our country today," Maya Ajmera, President & CEO of Society for Science & the Public and Publisher of Science News. "They have an enthusiasm and passion for STEM that I know will inspire them to do amazing things as they head to college and beyond."
