Bergen County Chase Bank Robbed Monday: Police
Man appeared to walk into the Norwood bank and held a note up with the word 'robber' on it.
The Chase Bank in Norwood was robbed Monday afternoon, police said.
The bank is located at 588 Broadway, at the corner of Livingston Street. Police wrote about the robbery and posted pictures of the suspect on Facebook shortly after 6 p.m. The post did not state how much cash the man got away with.
He appears to hold a note up to a teller with the word "robber" or "robbery" on it, one of the photos seems to show.

The suspect is a white man, approximately 6 feet tall, weighing between 225 and 250 pounds, police said. He was wearing a dark baseball cap, a red and white plaid shirt, jeans, and sneakers.
Police Chief Jeff Kraples was not available for comment. Police referred a Patch reporter to the FBI.

Doreen Holder, a spokesperson with the FBI's Newark office, did not have specific information about the robbery Monday night.
