Bergen Woman Abandoned Dog To Die Alone: Prosecutor
Jennifer Caruso of Norwood was issued summonses after police found her dog dead inside her former Northvale home, authorities said.

A Bergen County woman left her dog alone at her former home for so long that it died, said Bergen County Prosecutor Gurbir S. Grewal.
Jennifer Caruso, 36, allegedly left her dog Sully at her former Northvale residence “for an extended period of time,” Grewal said, and the dog died.
Police officers and fire personnel found the dead dog’s body inside the home Feb. 18, Grewal said. Caruso now lives in Norwood.
