Bergen Man, Woman Arrested On Drug Possession, Distribution Charges: Prosecutor

Authorities seized nearly $5,500, marijuana, and 2 imitation firearms from Miguel Pagan and Danielle Washington's home.

Two Bergen County residents were arrested on drug charges after authorities searched their home Friday and found marijuana and paraphernalia used to distribute drugs, said Acting Bergen County Prosecutor Gurbir S. Grewal.

The Bergen County Prosecutor's Office received information that controlled dangerous substances were distributed out of a Hudson Avenue residence in Norwood and executed a search warrant there Friday, Grewal said in a news release.

Authorities found about 1 ounce of suspected marijuana, drug paraphernalia associated with the distribution of controlled dangerous substances, two imitation firearms, and $5,490 in cash, the prosecutor said.

As a result of the investigation, Miguel Pagan, 35, was charged with possession with intent to distribute a controlled dangerous substance, namely marijuana, and Danielle Washington, 36, was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, namely marijuana, under 50 grams, Grewal said.

Both Pagan and Washington were released on summonses, Grewal said; they are scheduled to appear in Bergen County Central Judicial Processing Court Nov. 23.
