Award-Winning New York Photographer Chandra Glick to Lead Free Workshops at One River School in Englewood

Award-winning photographer and educator Chandra Glick will conduct a series of free digital photography workshops at One River School’s Digital Design Open House on Sunday, April 7.

Glick’s work has been exhibited in Manhattan at Gallery 136, the Visual Arts Gallery, Initiative X, and the International Center of Photography.  Her photographs for Details Magazine have received awards from the Society of Publication Designers.  She has also lectured at the School of Visual Arts, Fashion Institute of Technology, and Hunter College, and is the photography editor for Art Forum, one of the world’s leading contemporary art magazines.

“Chandra is a phenomenal artist and teacher, and we’re incredibly lucky to have her join us at One River,” says Matt Ross, founder of One River School of Art and Design.  “Her free digital photography workshops will give photographers - both novices as well as experienced enthusiasts - hands-on advice about photography software as well as tips and tricks that will instantly improve their skills.”

Chandra’s workshops will include “Graphic Design Principles” (10:00AM), “Photo-editing Basics” (11:00AM), and “Learn Your Digital Camera” (noon).  Other free workshops at One River’s Digital Design Open House will include iPad Painting (1:00PM) and Digital Animation for Teens (2:00PM).
