Oscar Israelowitz offers a comprehensive, visual, and historical tour of 250 years of American Jewish life, highlighting the evolution from early colonial congregations to the expansion of communities during the Industrial Revolution. His work explores iconic sites, including the Touro Synagogue, the Lower East Side, and unique, early 20th-century Jewish agricultural settlements like Woodbine, NJ.
