Author Jan Balakian (formerly from Tenafly) visits the Englewood Public Library on Wednesday, October 28 at 7 p.m. in the Mackay Room to read from her debut novella, "The Twilight Saga."
"The Twilight Swim" centers on an aunt and her niece, from Tenafly, New Jersey, who end up swimming across the Hudson River from Fort Lee to Manhattan. During their journey, they end up encountering some intriguing mythical characters who teach them life lessons. This book has been hailed as a wonderful young adult "coming-of-age" book.
Jan's novella also features original illustrations by Robin Lehovitis.
