Cobb Gets Dems' Nod For Englewood Council Seat
Charles Cobb beat Lisa Wisotsky by 64 votes to capture Democratic primary. Park beats McMorrow for Englewood Cliffs GOP ticket by two votes.

Charles Cobb beat LIsa Wisotsky by 64 votes to capture the Democratic nomination for an at-large council seat in Englewood in Tuesday’s primary election.
Cobb received 1,124 votes while Wisotsky received 1,060, unofficial votes showed.
Cobb will face off against Glenn Coley for the council’s at-large seat. The winner of that race Council President Lynne Algrant, who chose not to seek re-election.

Frank Huttle III ran uncontested for the Democratic nomination. He’ll run against independent Mack Cauthen in the general election.

Mark M. Park beat out Carrol McMorrow by two votes, 76 to 74, to capture the Republican slot for a council seat.
Democrat Joseph Favaro and Republican Mario M. Kranjac ran unopposed for their party’s respective nominations for mayor.
